We strive to make Barnton Bunker accessible to all visitors. However, due to the nature of the tour, the bunker is not suitable for visitors with certain mobility needs. Please see below for information on the accessibility features and accommodations we offer.

  • Parking

    The parking lot is located near the entrance of the bunker and is accessible to all visitors. There are a limited number of accessible parking spots available.

  • Entrance

    The entrance to the bunker requires crossing uneven terrain, which may be challenging for visitors with mobility issues.

  • Assistance Animals

    Service animals are welcome in the bunker. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a service animal with you.

  • Restrooms

    Please note that there are no wheelchair accessible restrooms located near the entrance of the bunker. The restrooms located on the tour route are also not wheelchair accessible. We apologise for any inconvenience.

  • Tour

    The tour involves navigating steep steps and stairs and walking on uneven terrain. Visitors with mobility issues, including wheelchair users, may find the tour challenging or inaccessible. We do not provide wheelchairs or other mobility aids. If you have any concerns about your ability to participate in the tour, please contact us before making a booking.

  • Informational Material

    Informational materials are available in large print upon request.
